About this site
waterheaterspecs.com is built and run by Giorgi Chubinidze. For a specific water heater model it shows the specifications and the replacement part numbers that fit it, and links every figure to the manufacturer's document it came from.
Why it exists
When a water heater stops working, the question is usually narrow: which anode rod, which gas valve, which thermostat fits this model number. A wrong answer costs money. The wrong part gets ordered, the tank stays cold for a few more days, and there is a second trip to the store.
The manufacturers do publish the answers, but in PDF spec sheets and parts lists that are hard to find and harder to search, each covering a whole series of models. This site puts those numbers on one page per model and one page per part number, and links the document so you can check a figure yourself before you buy anything.
What it covers
- A.O. Smith: 49 models, 274 part numbers
- Bradford White: 279 models, 1023 part numbers
Models are added in small batches. If yours is missing, it has not been added yet.
What it is not
It is not a store, and it is not affiliated with A.O. Smith or Bradford White. There are no ads, sponsored listings or affiliate links on the site. It does not give repair advice: it reports what the manufacturers' documents say, and links them.
Corrections
If a figure here does not match the document it cites, please report it. How our data works explains where every number comes from and what has been checked by hand.
